Dear Colleagues,

It gives us immense pleasure in inviting you to participate in the International Conference on Medical Physics - 2023 (ICMP-2023) which is to be held during 6th to 9th December 2023 at DAE Convention Centre, Anushaktinagar, Mumbai, India. The theme of the conference is "Innovations in Radiation Technology & Medical Physics for Better Healthcare” . ICMP-2023 is the 25th International Conference of International Organization for Medical Physics (IOMP) and it is jointly organized by Association of Medical Physicists of India (AMPI), IOMP, Asia-Oceania Federation of Organizations for Medical Physics (AFOMP), and South-East Asia Federation of Organizations for Medical Physics (SEAFOMP). The 44th Annual Conference of AMPI (AMPICON-2023), 23rd Asia Oceania Congress on Medical Physics (AOCMP-2023) and International South-East Asian Congress on Medical Physics 2023 (ISEACOMP 2023) will also be held along with ICMP-2023.

Rapid growth and development of technology have taken place in recent years in the field of medical imaging and radiation therapy. The diagnosis and treatment of cancer is now personalized and fully technology oriented. The conference deliberations will cover each and every aspect of applications of physics in medicine including current and future Technologies of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy.

The scientific program of the conference will include all types of sessions and deliberations such as plenary sessions, special sessions, sessions on education & training and professional development, review talks on topics of recent interest and presentations on recent innovations in the discipline. A number of renowned experts will be presenting invited lectures on the most up-to-date topics of interest in the field of medical physics, radiation technology, radiation oncology, medical imaging and associated radiation safety. The participants will have the unique opportunity to take advantage of the formal and informal discussions with the experts.

We welcome you all to the megapolitan city Mumbai, which is the commercial capital of India. Mumbai is also known as the city that never sleeps and it is the perfect blend of culture, customs and lifestyles. Mumbai is dotted with plenty of architectural landmarks and it is the center of Indian film industry (popularly known as Bollywood) and fashion industry. December is the perfect month for an excursion in Mumbai and other parts of India.

We have made arrangements to make your stay comfortable and memorable both socially and scientifically and look forward to welcoming you at the mega event of Medical Physicists.
