Guidelines/ Instructions for Abstract Submission
- The scientific committee of ICMP-2023 invites abstracts for presentation during International Conference on Medical Physics-2023.
- It is required to create a login ID for submission of the abstract (click the link "Create login ID").
- Abstracts must be submitted online using the link "submit your abstract".
- Maximum of two abstracts can be submitted by a presenting author.
- All abstracts submitted should be original and must not have been submitted elsewhere.
- The author needs to select a relevant track for submitting the abstract. Click here to view "List of Tracks".
- The title of the abstract should be brief and it should reflect the content of the abstract.
- The number of words, in the body of the abstract including spaces, should not exceed 350. (Please click here to download the abstract template)
- The body of the abstract should be structured as follows:
- Purpose/Background
- Materials/Methods
- Results
- Conclusions
- The use of standard abbreviations is desirable. A special or unusual abbreviation must be explained at first use.
- Authors may indicate their presentation preference (Oral/Poster). However, Scientific Committee will take the final decision about the type of presentation after acceptance of the abstract.
- Once the final submission is made under your login ID, no further edits will be entertained
- The presenting author will be notified by email about the acceptance of the abstract and other details.
- Registration is mandatory for presenting/publishing the abstract.
- In case of unavailability of the presenting author, one of the co-authors may present the work, provided the co-author is registered for participation in the conference.
- Important dates:
- Last date for submission of abstract: 30th June 2023
- Last date for communication of decision on the acceptance of abstract: 31st August 2023

- Abstracts accepted for presentation at the conference will be published in "Medical Physics International" of IOMP.
- The authors are encouraged to submit the full text of the accepted abstract for publication in the SPECIAL ISSUE of the JOURNAL OF MEDICAL PHYSICS ( https://jmp.org.in). For submission of the full text please use this link https://review.jow.medknow.com/jmp
